Professional Sports
Having 127 international players representing 28 countries -- and eight countries represented in the top 10 of the world rankings alone it is easy to see why Elite Advisors Sports Management has spent most of their efforts with out LPGA clients. Because of the vast diversity found in the LPGA, it was natural for us to begin working with some of the most talented Hispanic women in Golf. With the retirement of Lorena Ochoa in early 2010, there is void for that face of Hispanic Golf and we represent two of the best up and coming golfers on tour. We hope to contunie with our mission to help improve the exposure and overall popularity of the sport among Hispanics.
We have also increased our efforts to help bring more awareness to our Korean players. While Golf is certainly huge in Korea, that popularity is not shared so much here in the U.S. and we hope to continue to work with the LPGA and LPGA Korean golfers to help increase that awareness.
Our focus is to help minorities strive in professional sports. Currently the NHL only has 4 professional players of Hispanic descent and only 1 of Korean descent. By working with NHL clubs and signing some of the best minority hockey players in the World, we plan on changing those stats. We also work with Professional Hockey clubs to increase their marketing efforts to the Hispanic Community. Currently I have worked closely with Carlos Gomez, father of Montreal Canadian Scott Gomez who was the first Hispanic ever to be drafted and has won the Rookie of the Year and two Stanley Cup Championships while with the New Jersey Devils. Scott Gomez and his father run the Scotty Gomez Foundation which helps provide equipment and ice time to local youths in the Alaska area where Scott has an off season home. Below you will find a short video of the work his foundation brings and we plan to use that as a blueprint of what we can provide throughout the U.S.
